Platinum Duo Hybrid Warranty
The Platinum Duo Hybrid offers extended warranty protection, including up to 20 years of structural coverage on eligible components, subject to the applicable product warranty terms.
Electronics, internal wear parts, resin media, and installation workmanship have separate coverage periods and exclusions, as outlined in the Water Softener Warranty table above.

What “covered” Means

- Manufacturing defects in eligible components.

- Premature electronic failure caused by a manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period.
Not Covered
- Normal wear, aging, and deterioration.
- Clogging, fouling, scaling, or resin exhaustion.
- Damage caused by freezing, flooding, or improper operation.
- Power surges, lightning, or electrical damage.
- Routine maintenance, replacement filters, membranes, and wear parts.
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
Warranty coverage applies to qualifying defects, not components that have reached the end of their normal service life.
Labour, Installation & Service Call Coverage
- Water Softener Calgary provides a 90-day installation workmanship warranty starting from the installation date.
- This covers eligible installation-related workmanship defects during the initial 90-day period.
- After 90 days, service calls are billable, including visits involving components that may still qualify for parts replacement under warranty.
- Extended product warranties do not automatically extend installation labour coverage or provide free ongoing servicing.
Required Operating Conditions
Warranty coverage applies when the system:
- Is installed by a qualified technician.
- Operates within manufacturer-recommended water quality, pressure, and temperature limits.
- Is used in a normal residential application.
- Is protected from freezing and environmental damage.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, freezing, flooding, fire, or unauthorized modification is excluded.
